Assessments

To help reinforce your learning, many modules include Assessments. These quizzes test your understanding of the material and provide feedback on your progress.

Assessment Interface

Question Types​

You may encounter three types of questions:

  • Multiple Choice: Select the correct answer from a list of options.
  • True / False: Decide if a statement is accurate.
  • Open Text: Write a short answer in your own words.

Grading & Feedback​

Instant Feedback​

For Multiple Choice and True/False questions, you will receive immediate feedback. The system will highlight whether your answer was correct and often provides an explanation to help you understand why.

AI Grading for Open Text​

Open Text answers are graded by our AI Assistant.

  1. Submit Your Answer: Type your response and submit.
  2. AI Analysis: The AI reviews your answer against a rubric defined by the course creator.
  3. Personalized Feedback: You receive a score and specific feedback on what you got right and how you can improve.

Note: AI grading may take a few seconds to process.

Retaking Assessments​

If you don't pass an assessment on your first try, don't worry.

  • Retake Option: You can choose to "Retake" the assessment to try again.
  • Review: You can also "Review" your previous attempts to learn from your mistakes before trying again.
