Platform Administration

Beyond managing your specific workspace, Platform Admins have access to the system-wide dashboard. This is the "Control Tower" for the entire VybeLearn instance.

🎛️ The Admin Panel​

To access the platform-level tools:

  1. Click your Profile Picture in the bottom-left.
  2. Select Admin Panel.

Note: This option is only visible to users with the platform_admin role.

Dashboard Overview​

The main dashboard provides a high-level pulse check of the system:

  • System Status: Shows if all services (Database, Storage, AI) are operational.
  • Configuration: Confirming the system is correctly configured.

Coming Soon: Advanced analytics cards (Total Users, Active Courses) are currently being developed and will appear here in future updates.

🛡️ Role Management​

The User Role Management section allows you to modify permissions across the entire platform.

  1. Search: Find a user by email.
  2. Current Role: View their system-level access.
  3. Update Role: Promote or demote users.

System Roles vs. Workspace Roles​

  • Workspace Roles (Member/Creator/Admin) apply only to a specific team.
  • Platform Roles (User/Platform Admin) apply to the entire installation.
    • Platform Admin: Can manage any workspace and see system stats.

🚦 System Status​

The System Status card monitors the health of:

  • Supabase: The database and auth services.
  • Storage Nodes: File hosting for audio/slides.
  • AI Gateways: Connections to Gemini/OpenAI.

If this indicator turns Red, please check the server logs or contact support.
